Acclaimed Stony Brook Music faculty members, Jennifer Frautschi, violin, and Christina Dahl, piano, reunite for a program of rarities: three early-twentieth-century voices, from Respighi’s lush lyricism and Elgar’s nostalgic warmth to the virtuosity and intensity of Schoenberg’s rhapsodic Phantasy.

The program will feature Ottorino Respighi, Violin Sonata in B Minor; Arnold Schoenberg, Phantasy for Violin and Piano, Op. 45; and Edward Elgar, Violin Sonata in W Minor, Op. 82.
