Set within a minimalist, shape-shifting world of shadows, this production blurs the line between the real and the imagined. Former principal dancer with The National Ballet of Canada, Côte delivers a powerful performance in the title role, bringing the tormented prince to life in a haunting way. You’ll feel bewitched as this reinterpretation of the Shakespearean drama connects the movements of the body with what may or may not be lurking within the corners of the mind. This visual delight is a mesmerizing and deeply original take on a timeless tragedy.
