The Acting Company presents The Comedy of Errors, a vibrant production in conjunction with the non-profit, Play On Shakespeare! Follow Antipholus and his servant Dromio on a whirlwind quest for a long-lost family member. Along the way, the two find themselves ensnared in a madcap race against the clock, a love-at-first-double-take, run-ins with local law enforcement, and double trouble—times two.

The Acting Company stands as the sole professional theater focused on the development of young classical actors. Established in 1972 by Margot Harley and John Houseman, both from the inaugural graduating class of The Juilliard School’s Drama Division, the Company has successfully launched the careers of around 400 actors. Notable alumni include Kevin Kline, Patti LuPone, David Schramm, Keith David, Rainn Wilson, Lorraine Toussaint, Frances Conroy, Harriet Harris, Jeffrey Wright, Hamish Linklater, Jesse L. Martin, and Roslyn Ruff. In addition to shaping talent, The Acting Company has delivered high-quality professional theater to communities nationwide.
