The Acting Company: Comedy of Errors

The Acting Company: Comedy of Errors

THE ACTING COMPANY: Comedy of Errors
Sat., Feb. 8, 2025 @ 8pm

Calling all Shakespearean comedy enthusiasts!

An evening of laughter and mayhem awaits as The Acting Company presents The Comedy of Errors, a vibrant production in conjunction with the non-profit, Play On Shakespeare! Shakespeare’s ultimate farce of mistaken identities and wild reunions comes alive in a production that combines the Bard’s timeless humor with a modern twist. Directed by Devin Brain and featuring a fresh translation by playwright Christina Anderson, this rendition preserves the heart of Shakespeare’s language while making the comedy sharper, more accessible, and endlessly entertaining. Follow Antipholus and his servant Dromio on a whirlwind quest for a long-lost family member, featuring plenty of slapstick humor and pop culture references.
