In 1989, the Moscow Festival Ballet was founded with the goal of bringing their tradition of Russian Ballet to the world. As their popularity grew, they created the Russian National Ballet as a sister troupe. Since its premiere at the Bolshoi Theatre in 1945, Serge Prokofiev’s CINDERELLA has inspired a great many choreographers to bring their own signature to this imaginative work based on the well-known story.
